1. Decode the voice of negative criticism, resistance and fear.

2. Split your process into three stages: dreamer’s, realist’s and mentor’s (Walt Disney's Strategy).

3. Surround yourself with people that you admire and can learn from, consume everything they do.

4. Ask for help/advice in specific questions.

5. Expand your vocabulary, be more intentional in the language that you use.

6. Share your work and process even if it's not perfect.

7. Read books and articles related to your passion, watch tutorials, interviews, listen to podcasts - take notes of everything that's noteworthy.

8. Make a documentation of your creative process, write and sketch your thoughts and ideas daily.

8. Don't get attached to work.

9. Attend events, festivals, markets, workshops, conferences related to your interests.

10. Join groups and forums related to your interests, connect with people that pursue similar passions.

11. Learn with an intention of teaching others.

12. Use someone else's work critique to improve yours (see someone else's work as your own).

13. Think of yourself as a never ending process.

15. Consider yourself as an amateur, experiment.

16. When your piece is finished, ask yourself what did you miss, what you could've done better, and "how you can you apply what you've learned - today." - Chris Do

17. Use the end of one project to light up the next one.
